- About the Board of Chiropractic Examiners
- The Board consists of seven members; five licensed chiropractors and two public members, all appointed by the Governor. Each member is appointed to a four-year term and may be reappointed to a second term. There is a one-year grace period following the expiration of a Board member's term. The Board hires an Executive Officer who administers the Board's office in Sacramento. There is currently a staff of sixteen, including the Executive Officer and part-time employees, that work to carry out the policies and functions of the Board.
